Round 9 · British Grand Prix

Silverstone delivered the goods (if you'll excuse the ending) Leclerc's brilliant drive, Russell and Hamilton rounding out the podium, and a fair bit of chaos behind. Verstappen, Albon, and Hulkenberg all went home early, which is the sort of thing that either makes your weekend or ruins it completely. Speedy Steve absolutely cleaned up with 111 points, somehow picking seven drivers and landing most of them. Russell and Leclerc clearly did the heavy lifting. Velly and Critnix weren't far behind though, so a solid weekend all round for anyone brave enough to back the Ferrari and Mercedes drivers. The standings got properly shuffled this week. Velly's grabbed the lead after their 107-point haul, while Speedy Steve rocketed up to fourth, that's what a 111-point weekend does for you. Exosfear climbed to second with others doing 'not great', Which is the classic "someone else had a worse week" move. Meanwhile, it's been a rough couple of days for Dominator, tumbling from first all the way to seventh. And Dominator, if you're reading this we've all been there. Well, most of us. Some of us. Maybe. Back to action in nine days. Strap in.
